Ayinde Jordan Chong was born in Brooklyn, NY. After finishing high school, he traveled to England to study at Camberwell College of Arts in London, attaining an Associate Degree in graphic design. From there, he moved to Manchester to pursue larger creative digital media projects, but still inspired by *[his experience of graphic design]/[the application of graphic design] at Manchester Metropolitan University, where he acquired a Bachelor Degree in Interactive Arts and New Media Design.

During his years in England, Ayinde supported himself by way of freelance graphic design projects and involvement with a start-up design agency where he was given the opportunity to work with the community on projects that focused on bringing people together through graphic art. This in turn led to an introduction to the then blossoming European street art scene. During this time Ayinde, or “Kreate 718” as he is known in street art and graffiti circles, began to formulate a creative philosophy that incorporates the practice and more importantly, the appeal of street art and graffiti to younger demographics into his own practice, creative philosophy and knowledge of the art form.

After returning from the UK, Ayinde attained a Masters Degree in Emergent Digital Practices from the University of Denver and continues to evolve as a graphic designer as well as to work with young people in a creative capacity.
